This pleated fiber membrane filter cartridge combines pleated membrane or nonwoven media with polypropylene support components, typically including the inner core, outer cage and end sections. PP, PES, PTFE, PVDF, nylon or polyester media can be selected according to filtration duty and fluid compatibility. Common configurations include 5″, 10″, 20″, 30″ and 40″ lengths together with DOE, 222/Flat, 222/Fin, 226/Flat and 226/Fin ends. Published industrial cartridge specifications commonly show approximately 65–70 mm outside diameters and differential-pressure limits around 4–4.8 bar at ambient temperature, although actual limits vary by media and construction.
The cartridge can be configured for fine particulate removal and prefiltration in water treatment, RO/DI systems, compatible chemicals and other process-liquid applications. Application range is media-dependent: PP is widely used for general particulate filtration, while PES, PVDF, nylon and PTFE serve more specialized fine-filtration duties; suitable PTFE and other specified configurations may also be used for process gases or vent filtration. Selectable media, micron grades, seals and end connections allow the cartridge to support replacement requirements, equipment integration and OEM industrial filtration solutions.
