lvyuan stainless steel simplex industrial basket strainer uses a removable cylindrical basket inside a vertical housing for coarse and intermediate solids removal. The basket may be perforated stainless steel or fitted with a wire mesh lining when finer retention is required. The quick-access upper cover, flanged connections, bottom drain, pressure gauge and vent arrangement shown in the product configuration are consistent with established industrial simplex strainer designs. Comparable products use removable perforated or mesh stainless steel baskets, flanged ANSI or DIN connections and quick-access covers for routine maintenance.
Typical applications include process-water and cooling-water circulation, oil and lubrication service, chemical liquid handling and protection of pumps, valves, heat exchangers and other downstream equipment from rust, scale, sand and other larger suspended solids. Basket strainers are primarily used for prefiltration and equipment protection rather than fine polishing filtration.
