10 Inch PTFE Pleated Filter Cartridge for Process Water Systems

This 10 inch pleated filter cartridge uses membrane or nonwoven pleated media supported by polypropylene structural components. The pleated construction increases usable filtration area within the cartridge body, while the media can be selected according to the required micron rating and fluid compatibility. The pictured version uses a 222/Fin SOE end with dual O-rings; DOE, 222/Flat, 226/Fin and 226/Flat configurations are also established cartridge formats. Commercial 10 inch pleated cartridges commonly use PP, PES, PTFE, PVDF and nylon media with approximately 65–69 mm outside diameters.

Typical applications include process-water clarification, RO/DI pretreatment, utility-water filtration and particle removal before downstream membranes or finer filtration stages. PP is widely used for general aqueous prefiltration, while PES, PTFE, PVDF, nylon and other media provide different wettability and chemical-compatibility characteristics for compatible process liquids. The 0.1–200 μm range should therefore be understood as a product-series range rather than a rating available with every media type. This configurable construction supports industrial filtration solutions for water and process-liquid systems.
