This filter element is built from multiple layers of woven metal mesh that are permanently bonded by sintering into a rigid cylindrical medium. The bonded structure prevents the individual wires and mesh layers from shifting under pressure, helping maintain consistent pore geometry during service and cleaning. SS304 and SS316L are the primary materials, while Hastelloy, Inconel or Monel can be selected when process compatibility requires a specialty alloy.

The element is intended for particle removal in chemical processing, process-liquid filtration and protection of downstream equipment where a cleanable metallic filter medium is preferred. Its Tri-Clamp connection allows removable installation in compatible process assemblies, while the sintered mesh can be regenerated by backwashing, ultrasonic cleaning or suitable chemical cleaning. This construction is well suited to reusable industrial filtration solutions where stable micron retention, temperature resistance and repeated cleaning are required.
